Ghassoul, also called Rhassoul, is a mineral clay obtained from Moroccan volcanic rocks. Naturally rich in silica and highly absorbent mineral salts (Magnesium, Iron, Zinc, Sodium, Phosphorus, Potassium as well as provitamins), rhassoul is traditionally used in hammam treatments to capture impurities and gently cleanse the skin and the hair.
Without soap, without surfactant, this saponiferous clay, recognized as purifying, regenerating, regulating sebum and softening, is very appreciated for hygiene, hair care and sensitive skin.
Used in masks, poultices, scrubs or mud baths, Ghassoul leaves the skin clean, delicately scented and extremely soft.
It is also known to coat and strengthen the hair and facilitate the elimination of blackheads.
