Create the right environment

The first simple and effective way to escape stress and take care of yourself is to create a supportive environment, and for that you don't need much.

Surround yourself with soothing things, such as scented candles with essential oils, your favorite music. I really like incense from Senegal, Mali. It helps me set the tone for relaxation and reflection and already puts me in the right mood. It sounds simple, but that's the whole point of this article and believe me it works!Β 

Movement

Now let's talk about the power of movement. Practicing physical activity, such as sports, walking, releases endorphins and naturally fights stress in the body. Find an activity that fits your preferences and schedule and make it a regular part of your routine.

As an example for 3 months now, not a day goes by that I don't practice, hmm you read me right, and you tell yourself that it's not possible but in fact it is. ..

Don't put too much pressure on yourself or you'll never start. Personally, I do 10 to 20 minutes of sport a day and no more and that's what motivates me to do it every day! πŸ€ΈπŸΎβ€β™€οΈ

In addition, I have goals like working on my abs, my legs, etc... my daily workout does not exceed 20 minutes. I don't do one-hour sessions because it doesn't fit my schedule and doesn't allow me to be regular.

Since I started these daily exercises, I see the result and I am motivated every day, no negotiation, I really do it every day and it is pure pleasure. There are some great channels on YouTube, so you can really start exercising without having to leave your house.

Your mental well-being

In addition to physical activity, it is equally important to support your mental well-being. Consider practicing mindfulness meditation. This technique encourages you to be present in the present moment, letting go of worries and stress. It can be minutes of silence, listening to your favorite meditation podcast, etc. πŸ§˜πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ

Listen to your body

Besides these techniques, taking care of yourself also means paying attention to the needs of your body. Make sure you get enough sleep, eat nutritious meals, and stay hydrated. Prioritize your health and remember to take breaks as needed.😴

This brings me to the 5th point which is to leave! a day, a week, even a month if you can afford it. πŸ–

Listen, I plan my holidays 7 to 8 months in advance. I'm starting to save money, I'm watching my son's program, I'm planning months in advance!!! As a result, I am motivated well in advance and it boosts me to achieve my goals because the reward is at the end πŸ†.


Finally, don't forget to take the time to do the activities you enjoy. Whether it's reading a book, listening to music, or indulging in a hobby, doing things that bring us joy is essential for overall well-being.
