How it all began
Body care born out of a love story...
Being a mom is the most beautiful job in the world, being a mom to an amazing child makes this role even more magical...
When my son came into the world, little did I know that my world would be completely turned upside down...a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder followed in the wake of a number of food allergies and intolerances.
So I turn into a detective in the bathroom and kitchen to try to find the origin of all these irritations. Was it our cosmetics? was it the food?
The ingredients that I found in the kitchen were not the same as the ones that I was using.
The ingredients I discovered in my cosmetics or foods were mostly shocking or even toxic. Letters and numbers among the ingredients that hardly spoke to me except for googling them... transparency and ethics almost non-existent...
I document, educate myself, discovering how much the world has changed over the centuries in terms of consumption patterns...too much left unsaid, processing, denatured foods, pollution, ect, ect...
When we make the observation that Autism among so many others continues to be studied, we can ask ourselves the question of the direct link with our environment and our consumption pattern.
"It takes a village to raise a child"
The African proverb means that an entire community of people must interact with each other to live and grow in a safe and healthy environment.
Like many other women and mothers around the world, I will do everything I can to raise my child in a safe and healthy environment.
Based on my personal story, i create a healthy skin care for body, face and hair without harming the environment, cosmetic care, vegan, gluten-free, natural, non-toxic and non-animal tested plant oils and butters.
My search for natural allergy solutions has become my expertise which is now MissBak, a human and natural cosmetic brand.
